This is an exercise that I offen use when i am training – it really does improve your ability to kick hard and fast.

Include this kicking drill in your training regime and you will notice improvements in your: flexibility, speed, explosive power, spacial awareness and distancing (as well as other things).
All of these improvements will manifest themselves when it comes time for you to use a round house in sparring, or even on the street. There are many drills that i like to use when i train and this is certainly one of my favourites.
Plus, unlike most drills, the move (on its own) can be directly applied in most fighting sports and in real fights.

I think after training with this drill for some time (with intent focus), you’ll be surprised how hard and fast you can deliver a round house!
I know my round house feels absolutely deadly right now – then again, it’s felt dealy for the last decade or so 😉
